Are you interested in becoming part of what is possibly the most exciting change in the education landscape? In the first place we are seeking new teachers at our University Technical College (UTC) to join us in our new approach to education for 14 – 19 year olds.

Our UTC opened in 2013, in amazing new facilities that lend itself to our main courses in Building Studies, Computing and from September 2022 will be Health.  For further information on specific roles, please take a look at our current vacancies below. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a member of our Senior Leadership Team at Bucks UTC and lead our SEND department in order to support students to achieve the best possible outcomes. In addition we have a strong reputation for ensuring that students who experience barriers to their learning are successful and thrive. In fact, this post is integral to our vision as an inclusive school and will provide the person appointed with an outstanding opportunity to play an important role in further developing our provision. However, the role may include some teaching, depending on specialism. Furthermore, you will be well-supported by a strong team of professionals who always go the ‘extra mile’ for our young people.

This is an exceptional opportunity to become a Head of Department at Bucks UTC and lead our Computing department in order to support students to achieve the best possible outcomes. Students join the school in Year 10 or year 12 because they are passionate about following a specialism, one of which is Computing. Buckinghamshire University Technical College is a unique school offering the very best of technical education with outstanding links to our specialist employer sponsors. Our UTC specialises in Computing and Building Studies with Health being introduced as a new specialism from September 2022. Our curriculum embraces the core subjects at Key Stage 4 coupled with an innovative focus on our specialisms which is then further developed into our Sixth Form.
