Computing Students Network At Digital Summit With Elite Tech Companies
Bucks UTC Computing students were fortunate enough to attend the Digital Summit, organised by Buckinghamshire Business First at the Waterside Theatre. The summit focused on the future of technology in a wide range of industries whilst highlighting emerging markets and innovative practices, with many local and nation-wide businesses exhibiting in order to pitch their agendas and industry opportunities to visitors.
In addition to exhibitors, BBF’s Digital Summit received the likes of Microsoft, Bosch and Google’s Digital Garage talking at their annual conference.
“The Digital Summit was a wonderful opportunity for students to experience networking with a wide range of industry professionals – and with so many exciting companies and tech-related opportunities on show, students were engaged in lengthy conversation. Plus after speaking with a number of employers, I can confirm many have expressed great interest in supporting the UTC in areas of recruitment, presentation techniques, apprenticeships and work opportunities.” – Alan Bailey, Head of Computing.
